Dr. Siegert & Partner aims to advance the knowledge about and understanding of risk measurement and risk management. These aims are also represented by the two competing international risk managers' organisations:

• GARP (Global Association of Risk Professionals) and
• PRMIA (Professional Risk Managers' International Association)

To achieve these aims both offer certification programs

• GARP: Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and
• PRMIA: Professional Risk Manager (PRM).

As a member and FRM-holder of GARP and PRMIA we equally support their educational and standard-setting focus.

Although wellknown abroad we feel a need for promoting the organisations and their objectives and standards in Germany by informing about

• recent developments
• deadlines
• study groups/course providers and
• events in Germany.
